Cornflower Yellow & Sage 平織地毯 by Morris & Co.

The sage background is richer in person than it looked on screen, and the vine-like floral pattern adds just the right amount of detail without feeling busy. It’s soft underfoot and lies perfectly flat right out of the box.

I was worried the yellow might be too loud, but the soft blue in the vine pattern tempers it perfectly. The flatweave lies completely flat under my coffee table without curling at the edges.

The sage and yellow tones blend so well with my wooden floors, and the flatwoven texture feels sturdy underfoot without being rough. I’ve had it down for three weeks and it hasn’t shifted or frayed at the edges, which is exactly what I hoped for with a floral piece this detailed.
