Sumaya 柔黑平織地毯 by Martyn Lawrence Bullard

The black background makes the silver snake pattern really pop, and it’s held up well in our high-traffic hallway. Even with two kids running around, the flatweave stays put and vacuums up clean, no shifting.

I was worried such a bold pattern might overwhelm my living room, but the intricate snakes and floral elements actually ground the space beautifully. The soft flatweave texture feels luxurious underfoot without being too thick for the hallway.

The snake pattern looks so much better in person—the black background really makes the mirrored details pop. It’s thin enough to slide under a door but stays flat without curling at the edges.
