Ricardo 棋盤格象牙白與黑色平織地毯 by Humberto Leon

The warp in the checkerboard really does trick the eye—guests keep asking if the rug is actually rippled. It's surprisingly plush underfoot too, making the living room feel instantly more artistic.

The way the checkerboard pattern shifts and warps as you walk past it completely changes the feel of the room. It's surprisingly soft underfoot for a flatweave, and the ivory and black palette fits perfectly with my existing decor.

Even from across the room, the distorted checkerboard creates this cool optical illusion that looks like the rug is shifting. It's thin enough to slide easily under a door, but the flatwoven texture feels surprisingly sturdy underfoot.
