The black linework really gives it that hand-cut paper feel up close, but from across the room the maze pattern pulls the whole space together. I've already had two guests ask where I found it, and it's held up beautifully under our dining chairs this first week.

Finally got it laid in the living room and the hand-cut paper effect really shows up beautifully against the natural light—makes the maze pattern feel less busy and more artistic. The black on ivory is striking but not overwhelming, which was exactly what I was hoping for.
