The Pernilla Wheat Rug layers botanical and geometric motifs across a tonal warm neutral ground in a softly distressed, vintage-inspired layout. The botanical and geometric mix looks even better in person than online, and the distressed vintage vibe hides foot traffic beautifully. The subtle horizontal banding gives it a texture that makes the whole room feel more grounded.

The horizontal banding gives it a nice rhythm that breaks up the pattern, and the distressed look feels genuinely vintage rather than printed-on. Only wish the tonal neutrals had a bit more contrast in person, but it ties the room together well.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the subtle horizontal banding anchors the room without making the pattern feel busy. It coordinates nicely with my neutral sofa, though the distressed look is a bit more faded in person than the photos suggested.
