Fall in love with our whimsical Morris & Co. Blackthorn Lilac Rug. Originally designed for wallpaper by John Henry Dearle in 1892, this intricate weave of blossoms and vines layers soft lilac, blush pink, sage green, and muted blue for a dreamy, feminine palette. We have reimagined the classic pattern to include a border that anchors the design with a touch of formality and visual order. Water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable. Rug colors may vary slightly according to your device and the lighting in your space.

Ella ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

The weave feels dense and substantial underfoot, so it stays put even in the hallway. I’m still admiring how the lilac and blue tones shift in different light, and the blossom pattern looks just as intricate as the original wallpaper design.

Scarlett D. ★★★☆☆ Oct 21, 2026

The colors are prettier in person than on screen, but two corners of the rug lay slightly curled instead of flat on the floor. For the price, I expected a perfectly even weave.

Timothy F. ★★★☆☆ Oct 18, 2026

The colors are exactly as shown in the photos, a nice mix of soft lilac and blue, but the rug is thinner than I expected for the price. It works fine in a low-traffic area, though I wish the weave felt a bit more substantial underfoot.
