Fall in love with our whimsical Morris & Co. Blackthorn Forest Green Rug. Originally designed for wallpaper by John Henry Dearle in 1892, this intricate weave of blossoms, blooms, and vines layers rich greens and playful reds for luxurious depth. We have reimagined the classic pattern to include a border that anchors the design with a touch of formality and visual order. Water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable. Rug colors may vary slightly according to your device and the lighting in your space.

The vines and blossoms have that authentic Arts & Crafts depth—it reads almost like a tapestry from across the room. It's laid beautifully flat right out of the box, and the forest green is richer in person than on screen.

This rug’s pattern is incredibly detailed—the vines and blossoms look just like the original 1892 wallpaper design, which I love. It’s soft underfoot and adds a cozy, whimsical feel to my living room.

The pattern is more detailed and balanced than I expected from a rug, and it really anchors the room without feeling too busy. It does shed a little at first after vacuuming, but that seems to be settling down now.
