Let your room sing with our Morris & Co. Bird & Pomegranate Teal Green Rug. We've transformed the 1926 wallpaper design into a charming vignette with a modern, playful border. Originally inspired by views from William Morris's personal home, this whimsical scene features birds swooping, perching, and pecking amidst a maze of pomegranate plants. The composition features rich tones of fern green, blue-green, deep red and warm beiges for a welcoming balance of color. Water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable. Rug colors may vary slightly according to your device and the lighting in your space.

The teal background is richer in person than on screen, making the birds stand out perfectly. It’s already anchored my reading nook with a cozy, artistic feel.

Olivia ★★★★★ Oct 18, 2026

The pomegranate pattern pops beautifully against the deep teal, and the modern border keeps it from feeling stuffy like old wallpaper. It's already the first thing guests comment on when they walk into the living room.

Amelia ★★★★★ Oct 13, 2026

I was worried the teal would read too dark online, but in daylight it's a rich green that makes my oak floors look warm. The playful border keeps the 1926 wallpaper pattern from feeling stuffy, which is exactly what I wanted in the dining room. Zero shedding so far, too.
