If you like abstract art, this one's for you. Our Impasto Slate Blue Rug features a unique texture, like thick paint on canvas, which is the highlight of a 17th century painting technique called impasto. Tinted in various hues of blue, grey, and white, this rug is a true work of art. Water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable.

I wasn't sure how the thick, paint-like texture would feel underfoot, but it's surprisingly soft and adds such a cool artistic vibe to my living room. The slate blue color is even more striking in person.

The paint-like texture is even more striking in person, catching the light differently depending on the time of day. It feels substantial underfoot, not flimsy like some rugs I've had. This one's a keeper.

The texture is honestly the star here—it really does look like thick paint strokes on canvas, and the slate blue has this depth that changes with the light. It’s made my living room feel like a tiny gallery, and I keep catching myself staring at the floor.
