Ricardo Checkerboard Burgundy Rug by Humberto Leon

The checkerboard pattern genuinely looks like it's shifting as you walk past—the warped effect is so convincing. I've caught myself staring at the floor twice today, which feels ridiculous but the illusion is that good. The burgundy is deep and moody without being too dark for my living room.

The burgundy tones are so rich in person, and that warped checkerboard really does trick your eye into seeing folds where there are none. It’s already the talking point of my living room, and the low pile feels great underfoot.

I was skeptical about the "warped" effect, but up close it genuinely looks like the checkerboard is folding and shifting. The burgundy adds such a rich, unexpected depth that makes my living room feel more dimensional.
