Shift your perspective. The Ricardo Checkerboard Burgundy Rug reimagines a classic pattern with a warped, dimensional effect—creating the illusion of folds and movement across the surface. A continuous geometric layout in tonal burgundy feels graphic, modern, and playfully surreal.

Water-resistant, stain-resistant, and fully machine-washable. Colors may vary by device and lighting.

The burgundy tones are richer in person than on screen, and that warped checkerboard really does mess with your eyes from across the room. It’s thin enough to slide under furniture but still feels substantial underfoot, and the flatweave texture adds a nice subtle depth.

The warped checkerboard pattern really does trick the eye—it looks like the rug is shifting as you walk past. The burgundy is deep and rich, exactly what I wanted for my living room.

Eli T. ★★★★☆ Oct 21, 2026

The warped checkerboard pattern really does look like it's folding and moving underfoot, which adds a cool sense of depth to my living room. The rug feels dense and well-made, though it did shed a bit of fuzz for the first few days after unrolling.
