Florian Charcoal Flatwoven Rug

The pattern of chrysanthemums and cherry blossoms is so delicate against the dark gray that it doesn't feel busy at all, just elegant. It's transformed my dining room into a calm, moody space and the flatwoven texture feels cool and smooth underfoot.

I was a bit worried the dark charcoal might be too heavy, but the soft grey and khaki flowers break it up beautifully. The flatwoven weave is so thin it slides perfectly under my door, and the birds give it a nice touch of whimsy.
