Impasto Taupe Platgeweven Tapijt

I was a little worried the taupe would be too plain, but the thick, paint-like texture makes it feel like a piece of art on the floor. It’s surprisingly soft underfoot for such a modern, sculptural look, and the flat weave stays put even in my high-traffic hallway.

The texture on this rug is exactly like thick paint strokes, which makes it feel more like an art piece than a floor covering. It softens the room's look without being too loud, and the taupe shade blends well with my neutral decor.

The texture really does look like thick paint strokes up close, which is exactly the abstract vibe I was after. Knocking off one star because the taupe runs slightly lighter in person than in the photos, but it still grounds the room nicely.
