I was a bit skeptical about a rug with such a detailed forest scene, but the burgundy background really makes the woodland animals pop in my den. The texture has a nice, dense feel underfoot, and it doesn't slide around at all on my hardwood floor.

This rug instantly transformed my living room; the deep burgundy makes the storybook forest motif really pop. The pile is dense and soft underfoot, even with shoes on. Exactly the cozy, whimsical touch I was hoping for.
