리카르도 체커보드 아이보리 & 블랙 플랫위브 러그 by 움베르토 레온

The way the checkerboard pattern shifts and warps as you walk past it completely changes the feel of the room. It's surprisingly soft underfoot for a flatweave, and the ivory and black palette fits perfectly with my existing decor.

Even from across the room, the distorted checkerboard creates this cool optical illusion that looks like the rug is shifting. It's thin enough to slide easily under a door, but the flatwoven texture feels surprisingly sturdy underfoot.

The warped checkerboard pattern really does trick the eye—guests keep stopping to ask if the rug is actually folded. It lays perfectly flat but adds so much depth to the room.
