The black and white check with the red stripe is exactly the classic look I wanted, and the pattern holds up beautifully even in our high-traffic entryway. It's surprisingly soft underfoot for a rug that's designed to be so durable.

The plaid pattern looks crisp and classic in person, exactly as shown. It lays flat right out of the box with no weird creases, though I wish the red stripe was just a touch brighter. Overall a solid addition to my living room floor.

The red stripe over the check gives it that tailored, classic look without being too loud. It's laid flat in my hallway after a few days and the pattern lines up nicely at the edges. One small thing—the backing is a bit stiff when you first unroll it, but it settles quickly.
