The hand-drawn lines really give it that unique, imperfect look that makes the plaid feel fresh instead of traditional. It softened up nicely under the couch legs after just a few days.

The plaid pattern has such a nice hand-drawn feel to it, way more character than a typical printed rug. The subtle cording along the stripes really anchors the design, and the slate blues are calming in my living room. It's laid flat in a day and looks even better in person.

The colors are more muted in person than on screen, which I actually prefer — the slate blues blend nicely with my gray couch. The hand-drawn lines give it a slightly uneven look that feels more artistic than machine-made.
