アイリス・アプフェルによるカラフルルーム マンゴー ラグ

I was nervous the pattern might be too loud for my living room, but the traditional Turkish weaving gives it a grounded, artisan feel that somehow ties all my mismatched furniture together. The wool is thick and has held up well under my heavy coffee table for the past week.

The colors are even more vivid in person, and that traditional Turkish loom pattern gives my living room a fun, artsy focal point. I catch myself staring at the mango-inspired tones every time I walk by.

The colors are exactly as bright as in the photos, and the Turkish loom weave feels sturdy underfoot. But the pattern is busier than I expected in person, so it takes over the room a bit more than I'd like. It’s a solid rug, just not as versatile as I hoped for my living space.
