Tappeto piatto Oscar Soft Blue di Jonathan Adler

I was a little worried the pattern might be too busy for my living room, but the interlocking triangles and circles create such a calm, watery feel. The rug is genuinely soft underfoot, which surprised me for a flatwoven piece.

The water-like pattern shifts as you walk past it, and the blue is softer in person than on screen. I’ve had it down for a week and the flatweave lies perfectly flat with zero shedding, which is exactly what I wanted for the hallway.

The interlocking triangles and circles create such a hypnotic, fluid pattern in person—it really does look like water shifting across the floor. The blue is soft and calming, not too bright, which makes the whole room feel more serene. I catch myself staring at the design more than I expected to.
