Verena Flachgewebter Teppich in Dunkelholz

The open field design makes this rug feel much larger in my living room than its actual dimensions, and the gem-like shapes add a subtle texture I wasn’t expecting. The border is cleanly woven but not overly busy—fits my farmhouse decor without clashing. It did flatten out after a day with a rug pad

The border detail is what sold me—it gives the whole room a polished, intentional look without feeling too busy. It’s laid out in our living room and the flatweave texture is easy to vacuum, which I appreciate with two dogs tracking in dirt daily.

The gem-like shapes in the open field look even better in person than in the photos, and the ornate border gives it that classic feel without being too busy. It lies perfectly flat right out of the box, which surprised me for a rug this size.
