The horizontal bands add just the right amount of structure to the taupe and cream pattern, and it feels substantial underfoot without being too thick. Definitely a solid neutral piece that ties my living room together.

The cream stripes between the dark brown bands add just enough contrast to keep the pattern interesting without being busy. It feels more substantial than I expected underfoot for a flatwoven rug. My living room finally has the grounded, layered look I was hoping for.

The vertical taupe bands really anchor the living room, and the cream stripes break up the warmth just right. It's held up well under our coffee table for two weeks with no visible wear, so I'm pretty pleased with the structure.
